The inaugural Jack Brown Memorial Tournament was played under perfect conditions on Monday and Tuesday at the Laredo Country Club. The six teams and 31 golfers that participated are already looking forward to next year's event.

UT-Pan American took first place team honors (315-312=627) with four of the top five individual finishes. UTPA's Mariale Camey (74-79=153) was the top individual finisher. St. Mary's finished second and Dallas Baptist third in the team standings.

Maricella Salinas and Bianca Vidaurri were TAMIU's top finishers, tying for 18th place with identical rounds (95-89=184).
