Texas A&M International University men's soccer will host the Laredo Heat in an exhibition game this Thursday. The game will mark the debut of lights at Dustdevil Field with kickoff scheduled following a lighting presentation that will begin at 8 p.m. Scheduled to speak during the presentation are TAMIU President Dr. Ray Keck III and Laredo Heat President Sashi Vaswani. The lights were made possible through a collaborative agreement between Vaswani Soccer Ventures and TAMIU. The Laredo Heat will play all eight of its home games at Dustdevil Field this season, beginning with a Friday, May 16 contest against the DFW Tornados. The Heat are defending North American USL PDL Champions. There will be no admission charged for the exhibition. Dustdevil Field is located in the Athletics Complex in the southeast part of campus. |
