Maymi Finished 23rd At Heartland Tournament

St. Edward's Cruises To Team Title



Andrés Maymi has been TAMIU's stroke leader throughout the spring.

Texas A&M International University junior Andrés Maymi finished tied for 23rd place in the Heartland Conference Championships, carding rounds of 80, 76 and 83 for a 239 total. The 54-hole tournament was played on Monday and Tuesday at the Golf Club of Dallas.

Matthew Hatcher led St. Edward's to a team title in the tournament by winning top honors with a two over par 212. SEU finished with a team total of 875, 20 strokes better than second place finisher St. Mary's.

A total of 36 golfers participated in the tournament.
