Texas A&M International University junior Chris Swan has been named Heartland Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 11-17.

Swan averaged 22.0 points and 12.5 rebounds in road games at Lincoln and Newman. He also totaled 10 assists, five blocks and four steals against the Blue Tigers and Jets.

Swan leads the team with a 17.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game average. He has scored in double-figures in 18 of 21 games played, contributing 20 or more points eight times.
