Texas A&M International University junior shortstop Ryan Flynn has been selected as a 2008 All-Heartland Conference first-team infielder. The all conference selections were made by a vote of the conference's head coaches.

Flynn leads the team and ranks in the top-10 of the conference individual rankings with a .377 batting average. He also leads the team in hits (58), doubles (13), RBI (37) and walks (26) while ranking tied for second with 28 runs scored.

Flynn earned second-team All-Heartland Conference honors last season. A graduate of Greater Latrobe High School in Pennsylvania, he played one season at Allegany College before transferring to TAMIU.
