Texas A&M International University and Newman split a Heartland Conference doubleheader on Friday in Wichita, Kan. Newman won the opener 8-7 in 10 innings before TAMIU rebounded for a 10-4 win in game two.

The Dustdevils and Jets will conclude the season series with a doubleheader on Saturday. The start time has been moved up to 10 a.m. due to a forecast of afternoon rain.
