Texas A&M International University will host Heartland Conference frontrunner St. Edward's in a four-game series this weekend at Veterans Field. The Dustdevils and Hilltoppers will play doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday with first pitch scheduled for noon on both days. St. Edward's (16-5, 14-2 Heartland) is currently in first place in the conference standings, one and a half games ahead of second place Incarnate Word. The Hilltoppers have won 16 of 18 games since starting the season with a 0-3 mark. TAMIU (9-14, 8-10) is in fifth place in the conference standings after sweeping Newman in a three-game series last weekend on the home field. The Saltimbanco Bus is scheduled to arrive at Veterans Field at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday . The traveling band of Saltimbanco street performers is touring around Texas prior to the premier of the U.S. Saltimbanco Tour. |
