Texas A&M International University's men's cross country team finished in fourth place in the team standings at Saturday's Heartland Conference Championships. The Dustdevil women finished in seventh place in the team standings. The championship meet was held at the San Antonio State School in south San Antonio.

Three runners achieved All-Heartland Conference honors with top-10 finishes on the men's side. Luis Beltrán placed seventh at 27:14, Gedyon Keflezgi ninth at 27:20 and Eddie González 10th at 27:30.

Jenny Méndez was TAMIU's top finisher on the women's side. She placed 26th in the 5K race with a 22:02 effort.
